What is a vinyl wrap?

To put it simply, a vinyl wrap is a self-adhesive skin that is directly installed onto the paintwork of a vehicle.

Vinyl wraps are dry applied using a heat gun to soften and conform the material around the car, specialist application tools are also used to trim, tuck and neatly finish off the edges.

Vehicle wraps may offer some protection to the paintwork, but this is not it’s primary roll.

The main 2 reasons for getting a vinyl wrap are for commercial advertising or an aesthetic colour change.

A vinyl wrap can be a printed graphic, it can also be a pre-coloured film.

Once a wraps lifespan is up, it can easily be removed by a professional, revealing the original paint colour.
