Boat & Marine Wraps

Frequently Asked Questions

  • How is It Installed?

Vinyl wraps are dry applied using a heat gun to soften and conform the material around the car, specialist application tools are also used to trim, tuck, and neatly finish off the edges.

  • How Long Does it Take To Install?

If you are ready to book your car in for a wrap, waiting time is usually between 1-3 weeks depending on how busy we are, we also need a bit of time to order the vinyl in.

Be prepared to leave your vehicle in our workshop for between Days for most basic Marine Installations.

  • What Does It Cost?

Pricing is very dependant on the different finishes of vinyl. A matte black wrap would be cheaper than a chrome gold wrap on the same vessel.

Before giving you a solid quote, we would go over your boat to gauge the difficulty level and confirm what colour you are after.

  • How Long Does it Last?

The longevity of a wrap really depends on several factors such as sun exposure, climate, frequency of washing, and general ‘wear and tear’.

Wraps do not last as long on wet storage vessels that are out on the water every day and in the sun a lot. With heavy wear and tear like this, the life expectancy may be as short as 2 years. However, even something as simple as storing your boat in the shade could increase the life expectancy of your wrap dramatically.
