BMW M Snow and Ice 2026
From Concept To Reality
When BMW Australia began planning the 2026 BMW M Snow and Ice Experience in New Zealand, they wanted more than just another event vehicle.
The brief called for a hero car, something bold, unmistakably BMW M and visually striking enough to stand out against the alpine landscape. The vehicle would feature across photography, video content and future marketing campaigns.
Drive Creative was entrusted with bringing that vision to life.
A Design Created For The Snow
Designed by Samantha Rogers, Creative Director of Drive Creative, the livery was created specifically for the BMW M3 with one objective, maximum visual impact. Combining acid green, cyan blue and black with aggressive brush textures and strong AREA M branding, the finished design captures the energy of the Snow and Ice Experience while remaining unmistakably BMW M.
Produced & Installed In-House
Once approved, the project moved into production at Drive Creative’s Melbourne headquarters, where print production and installation are managed entirely in-house.
Every graphic panel was engineered to suit the contours of the BMW M3, ensuring colours and textures flowed naturally around the vehicle for a seamless finish. Installation was led by Shaun, with print production managed by Dominic, delivering the level of precision expected of a flagship BMW M vehicle.
With Defcon Films
To protect the hero car throughout transport, filming and event use, Drive Creative partnered with Defcon Films Australia to apply Defcon Glanz gloss paint protection film over the completed wrap. The film provides exceptional clarity and protection against stone chips, road debris and harsh alpine conditions while enhancing the depth and vibrancy of the graphics beneath.
The PPF installation was completed by Isaac, ensuring a finish worthy of a vehicle destined for international marketing and event duties.
More Than A Marketing Vehicle
For Drive Creative, projects like this represent what we love most, combining creativity, craftsmanship and collaboration to create vehicles people remember.
“Projects like this sit in a space I genuinely love, somewhere between branding, design and art. Seeing an idea evolve from concept to completion alongside such a skilled team is incredibly rewarding, and creating vehicles people remember is what it’s all about.”
