Terms of Service & Workmanship Guarantee

Effective: July 2026

These Terms of Service apply to all quotations, design work, print production, installations and services supplied by Drive Creative Pty Ltd (“Drive Creative”, “we”, “our” or “us”). By accepting a quotation, paying a deposit or engaging our services, the Customer agrees to these Terms.

1. Quotations

All quotations remain valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated.

Quotations are based on the information supplied by the Customer. Should vehicle specifications, artwork requirements, quantities or project scope change, Drive Creative reserves the right to amend the quotation prior to commencement.

Unless otherwise stated, all prices are exclusive of GST.

2. Payments

A 50% deposit is required before production or installation commences.

The remaining balance is payable immediately upon completion of the project unless alternative payment terms have been agreed in writing.

Drive Creative reserves the right to withhold delivery of goods or release of vehicles until payment has been received in full.

Overdue accounts may incur interest at 2% per week together with any reasonable debt recovery costs incurred.

3. Design & Artwork

Our standard design process includes one initial concept and up to three rounds of minor revisions.

Additional concepts, significant design changes or revisions beyond this allowance will be charged at our current hourly design rate.

Final artwork approval must be provided in writing (including email approval). Approval confirms that the Customer has reviewed and accepted all spelling, colours, logos, sizing, positioning, layout and artwork details.

Any changes requested after approval may incur additional design, production and installation charges.

While every effort is made to accurately reproduce colours, slight variations may occur due to differences between computer screens, printers, vinyl finishes, laminate finishes and lighting conditions. Exact colour matching cannot be guaranteed.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, all artwork created by Drive Creative remains the intellectual property of Drive Creative Pty Ltd. Customers are granted a non-exclusive licence to use the completed artwork for its intended purpose. Artwork files may be purchased separately if required.

4. Bookings & Scheduling

Booking dates are confirmed upon receipt of the required deposit.

Customers are responsible for delivering their vehicle at the agreed booking time.

Vehicles may be required for up to seven business days depending on project complexity, drying times, material availability or unforeseen circumstances.

Cancellation or rescheduling with less than 48 hours’ notice incurs a cancellation fee of $350.

Late arrivals may require the booking to be rescheduled.

5. Vehicle Condition & Preparation

Vehicles must arrive clean and free from excessive dirt, wax, silicone, polish and contaminants.

A cleaning or decontamination charge may apply where additional preparation is required.

Customers must disclose any ceramic coatings, paint protection coatings, wax treatments or other surface treatments before installation. Failure to disclose these may affect adhesion and void any workmanship warranty.

Customers must also disclose any known repainting, accident repairs, rust, body filler, paint damage or existing defects.

Drive Creative is not responsible for issues arising from poor paint condition, previous repairs or compromised paint systems.

6. Hardware Removal

Some installations require removal of mirrors, badges, door handles, trims, spoilers, lights or other components.

While every reasonable care is taken during removal and reinstallation, Drive Creative cannot guarantee that all components will reinstall exactly as they were prior to removal due to manufacturer tolerances, age, wear or previous repairs.

Replacement of clips or fasteners that fail due to age or prior damage may incur additional costs.

7. Installation Standards

Vehicle wrapping is a hand-crafted process.

Minor joins, seams, overlaps, relief cuts, trimming lines and edge finishing are considered normal industry practice and do not constitute installation defects.

Some complex curves, recesses and high-stress areas may require joins or additional finishing techniques to ensure long-term performance.

Following installation, minor settling of the vinyl may occur. Where necessary, Drive Creative may request that the vehicle be returned for inspection and minor adjustments.

8. Wrap Removal

Removal of vehicle wrap is not included unless specifically quoted.

Vehicle wrap adheres to the existing paint surface. During removal there is always a risk that paint or clear coat may lift where paint has deteriorated, been previously repaired, is non-genuine, poorly bonded or otherwise compromised.

Drive Creative cannot accept responsibility for paint failure resulting from the condition of the underlying paint system.

9. Workmanship Guarantee

Drive Creative guarantees that all wraps are installed using manufacturer-recommended installation procedures and recognised industry best practice.

If a defect is determined by Drive Creative to have resulted directly from our workmanship, we will repair or replace the affected area at no cost to the original Customer.

This workmanship guarantee applies only to installation defects and does not cover normal wear, environmental exposure or damage caused after installation.

The workmanship guarantee does not apply where the film has been damaged by:

• impacts or collisions

• stone chips

• vandalism or graffiti

• animal damage

• chemicals or solvents

• pressure washing too closely to film edges

• incorrect cleaning methods

• fuel spills

• excessive heat

• accidental damage

• environmental fallout

• failure to follow care instructions

This warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is not transferable.

10. Film Performance

Vehicle wrap films are consumable products and will naturally age over time.

The expected lifespan of any wrap varies depending on numerous factors including vehicle use, storage conditions, climate, UV exposure, orientation, cleaning methods, environmental contaminants and general maintenance.

Any lifespan discussed during quotation or consultation is provided as a guide only and should not be interpreted as a guarantee that the film will remain unchanged for any specific period.

Reasonable fading, gloss reduction, discolouration and general ageing of the film are considered normal characteristics of exterior vehicle wraps.

11. Manufacturer Materials

Where specified, Drive Creative installs genuine 3M graphic films and related products.

As a 3M Select Partner, our installers follow manufacturer-recommended installation practices and maintain current product training.

Any manufacturer warranty relating to the material itself remains subject to the applicable manufacturer’s warranty terms, conditions and eligibility requirements.

Drive Creative is not responsible for manufacturer warranty decisions or outcomes.

12. Customer Responsibilities

To maximise the life of your wrap we recommend:

• Hand washing using pH-neutral automotive wash.

• Avoiding automatic car washes with brushes.

• Removing bird droppings, bug splatter, tree sap and contaminants promptly.

• Avoiding prolonged exposure to harsh chemicals.

• Maintaining adequate distance when pressure washing.

• Whenever practical, storing the vehicle undercover.

Failure to properly maintain the wrap may reduce its lifespan and may affect any workmanship claim.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Drive Creative’s liability is limited to the repair or replacement of defective workmanship.

Drive Creative is not liable for loss of income, vehicle downtime, hire vehicles, business interruption, loss of profits or any indirect or consequential loss arising from the supply or installation of our products or services.

14. Indemnity

The Customer warrants that any artwork, logos, trademarks or content supplied for production may be legally reproduced.

The Customer agrees to indemnify Drive Creative against any claims arising from copyright infringement, trademark infringement or inaccurate information supplied by the Customer.

15. Force Majeure

Drive Creative shall not be liable for delays or failure to perform obligations where such delay results from events beyond our reasonable control, including material shortages, transport delays, supplier issues, industrial disputes, natural disasters, government restrictions or other unforeseen circumstances.

16. Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any rights or remedies available to consumers under the Australian Consumer Law or any other applicable legislation where those rights cannot lawfully be excluded.

17. Changes to These Terms

Drive Creative reserves the right to update these Terms of Service from time to time. The version current at the time a quotation is accepted shall apply to that project.
