Supporting Victoria’s Critical Infrastructure

Each year, Drive Creative works with Professional Helicopter Services (PHS) to produce and install temporary wraps and decals on helicopters used for AusNet’s annual aerial inspection program. Based at Moorabbin Airport, PHS is one of Australia’s leading specialist helicopter operators, providing aerial services ranging from powerline inspections and surveying to firefighting and emergency response. During the inspection season, these aircraft are branded for AusNet before taking to the skies across Victoria.  

Using advanced Smart Aerial Image Processing (SAIP) technology, the helicopters inspect thousands of kilometres of high-voltage transmission lines and around 40,000 electricity poles each year, helping identify potential defects before they become larger issues. Because the branding is only required for the inspection period, every installation needs to be completed efficiently, without compromising the aircraft’s finish, and removed cleanly at the end of the program. It’s a project we’re proud to deliver year after year, supporting the teams that help keep Victoria’s electricity network safe and reliable.
