BMW M5 Safety Cars

Bathurst 12 Hour 2025

Launching BMW’s New Performance Flagship

For the 2025 Bathurst 12 Hour, BMW Australia selected the all-new BMW M5 Sedan as the official Safety Cars for one of the country’s most prestigious endurance races. The event also marked one of the first public appearances of the new M5 in Australia, placing the vehicles in front of thousands of spectators at Mount Panorama and a global motorsport audience.

Drive Creative was entrusted to produce and install the complete safety car liveries across both BMW M5s. Working closely with BMW Australia, every element of the graphics package was manufactured and fitted to meet the demanding standards required for a vehicle that would spend the weekend leading one of the world’s toughest GT endurance races.

Built for Motorsport. Finished Like a BMW.

Unlike a traditional race car wrap, these vehicles needed to balance high visibility with BMW’s premium design language. The finished result complemented the M5’s bold styling while ensuring the cars remained instantly recognisable in changing weather conditions, under television broadcast and at high speed around Mount Panorama.

Being selected to wrap the official Safety Cars for the Bathurst 12 Hour is a reflection of the trust BMW Australia continues to place in Drive Creative to deliver nationally significant projects where quality, precision and presentation are non-negotiable. The BMW M5 Safety Cars led the field throughout the event as Team WRT claimed victory for BMW in the 2025 Bathurst 12 Hour, making it a memorable weekend both on and off the circuit.
